First among Legendário do
Mirante´s sons, this young horse inaugurates the second
generation of Interagro Stallions to enter active service.
Gold
Medal at the Brazilian Nationals in 1998 and 2000, this
exceptional stallion started his stud activities in 1999, having
so far an offspring of more then thirty individuals of great
quality. Profano carried a lot of weight in the process of
development of the Interagro lineage, not only because he is a
son of Legendário but also because his mother, Cigana MLC, is
one of the most important mares in the formation of the
Interagro Horse. Besides Profano, she has begotten a series of
Gold Medal Champions, heads of greatly prized progenies, like
Noblissimo (by Xique-Xique CI); Obtuso - International Dressage
Champion, now in the U.S with Yacht SA, and Rocinante Interagro
with Distinto MAC. Two other younger horses from Cigana (MLC)
are being groomed to become important stallions at Interagro or
in any other fortunate Lusitano breeder: Ultimato Interagro (by
Visqueiro CI, exported to the U.S. and Xerxes Interagro (by
Quínio Interagro). Very much like Xique-Xique CI, Cigana MLC has
marked and will through her sons definitively imprint the
Interagro lineage on their offspring.
Profano, although still
very young, has a very successful offspring, winner of many
prizes in the Brazilian nationals; some exported to the U.S.
Several of his daughters are or will be included into the group
of official Interagro brood mares.
